New York State first time home buyers tax credit
Aug 26 2009 10:50PM

Finally, New York State has put together a very good plan to offer a tax credit for first time home buyers.

The details are complicated. I would be glad to explain and help you find your first home.

Don't forget to receive the federal $8,000
tax credit you must take possession of your house before Dec 1 ....

I think we all understand the federal $ 8,000 tax credit for first time home buyers --- don't forget you must close on the house befored Dec. 1.
and now .....
New York State is now offering a tax credit of
20% of your mortgage interest for up to 30 years. There are also deadlines and limitations.

I would be happy to answer all your
real estate questions.

Time is running short for the First Time Home Buyers
Aug 10 2009 8:19PM

Wow .... I have just spoken with some of my fellow agents and these house closings are taking much longer than the usual 60 days.

That means that if you wait until late fall to choose a home you could possibly not take possession in time to meet the Dec 1 government deadline. The $ 8,000 tax credit is a gift, if you qualify and the time is right for you to own your own home don't delay.

I would be glad to help you or answer your questions.

Time is running out for first-time home buyers
Jun 30 2009 1:44PM

It has been a busy year for first-time home buyers taking advantage of the $ 8,000 government tax credit.
I have had several of my buyers bid over the listing price for a house in order to get the house. House prices have come down and quality houses do sell quickly.
Don't forget it now is taking over 60 days to
close title a house and the government wants it done by Dec. 1, 2009!

First Time Home Buyers are losing their bids on houses
Jun 9 2009 10:46AM

Wow .... the first time home buyers are out there attending Open Houses making offers on houses BUT not getting their offer accepted. You need a Realtor who is working in your behalf .... that is a
Certified Buyer Agent (CBA).

Take advantage of the $ 8,000 government money you must complete the purchase (called closing) before Dec 1. 2009

Don't miss out.
