Just recovering from another fantastic weekend!
More and more couples I am meeting with are asking me about up lighting, color kinetics, lounge seating. So here are some photos from a recent wedding at the Harbor Club in Huntington. Please check out our website for more options on lighting and décor at www.dancejock.com or www.coolald.com

What is a Gobo??
Oct 12 2009 11:54AM

Well, that is a good question. A gobo is a stencil with the bride and grooms name or monogram that is inserted into a projector and then it can be shown on the dance floor, or walls. Really personalizes your entrance! Here it is shown from this weekend's wedding at the Carlyle on the Green! Thanks Nicole and Jimmy for having us we had a rocking time!!

Classical Musicians
Oct 5 2009 4:43PM

****Good Musical Tip Information****

I feel like more and more couples I meet with are planning their ceremonies at the reception location rather than the traditional church setting. So, the same question keeps coming up "what do I do for ceremony music?" Personally, the most beutiful and traditional sound is that of a classical trio or quartet. Check out the link below to hear some samples.

As always....happy planning!

New to Blogging
Jun 8 2009 12:30PM

Hey all-

So, I am a little new at this blogging thing....but I thought it would be a great way for us to communicate! I worked with a bride and groom a couple of weeks ago that wanted to dress up their ballroom without going over the top. So, we added some white pipe & drape with color kinetic room lighting, and wow.....what a difference. The room looked fantastic and elegant. They were thrilled and so were the guest. Take a look at the picture, behind the cake. It is a great TIP for anyone looking for something unique!
