A Theme That Never Goes Out Of Style
I hear so many times about theme weddings and get asked how long with this be in style. I am booking my wedding 2 years in advanced and don’t know if what I want will be in style. This is a very good question as we all know fads come and go like the wind. However, there is one trend that has held strong for years and has no intention of going away anytime soon.
That theme is HOLLYWOOD GLAM! This theme has been around for decades so it is fairly safe to say it will not be going anywhere! It is a wonderful because you can do so much with it. If you are more of an understated bride then it is easily down played and if you are a outgoing bride you can take it and run with it.
From red carpets to crystal candelabras, rhinestone tiaras to long flowing gowns, there are just so many ways to run with this. Your photographer will be able to give you some good feedback as well if you should need and he should be ready with camera in hand to capture every little detail.
If you are a movie buff old Hollywood blockbuster titles can be used in place of table numbers. Who wouldn’t love to be sitting in Casablanca or even (Breakfast at) Tiffany’s. You can do show stopping feather plumed centerpieces, candelabras or even flowing flowers. This is no limit to what your imagination can come up with. Pile old movies reels on top of each other and then a small vase with a single long stemmed rose.
You can even incorporate your gown and your bridal parties wardrobe as well. Put your girls in sexy sequins and the gents in tails. If the groom is willing top hat and cane is always a show stopper. You can go big with props from an old time Roles for the bride and groom (great for bridal party shots as well) to something as simple as a old Hollywood poster for guest to sign and give you wonderful wedding wishes.
This theme will work with any color as well! From elegant black and silver, to red and gold and really any other dramatic color (royal blue, deep purple, even a dramatic orange) you can create a pallet that will work with your entire theme.
So if you are looking for something that you will look back on years from now and say wow I can still pull that off and have it look just as good then this is the way to go!Take a look at some of these dramatic photos of one of our Hollywood Glam themes and please let us know what you think!
