It isn't too difficult. The website that are on the boxes of invites bought at AC Moore and Michaels have templates.
We bought ours at AC Moore, with a coupon for each of us to check out with and spent $30 for 100 invites and reply cards and envelopes for both.
For the reply cards the website gave us 4 suggestions on how it should read and a view of the mock up on the website to see how it looked before you printed them. We changed the font, font size and you can even change to Bold or italic if you'd like. We also changed the wording to something we saw on Pinterest instead of using their suggestions.
For the Invites themselves they gave even more suggestions as sometimes the brides parents pay for the wedding, sometimes both sides pay toward it, sometimes the Bride and Groom pay for it themselves and there are other suggestions too. We found one that was close to what we liked and changed the wording, added our info, made sure it didn't didn't touch or cover any of the design on the card and printed them out.
You can also toss their suggestions for reply and invite wording and write your own entirely and see it mocked up before you print them.
They also have templates you can download for the envelopes and do straight from your computer without being on the website.
I highly recommend it, especially if you are trying to save money because you can put the money you would have spent on the invites on something else you would like.
Make sure you look for coupons, ours were 55% off one item, we printed 2 and each checked out with a 50 invite pkg and pd just under $15 each.
I will try and get FH to scan ours so I can post them, but I we have some errands to do today so it will be afternoon earliest, tomorrow latest (I hope).
Good Luck!
