Went to a wedding yesterday at Crest Hollow Country Club....

Yasterday Fh and I went to a wedding at the CHCC. The place is beautiful, as always and the bride and groom looked fantastic. The only complaint we had was we did not like going upstairs and downstairs and upstairs again. The ceromony did not go off on time, and we did not know where to go, and the we had to go up a bunch of steps, then downstairs for the cocktail hour, and upstairs again for the reception. We did not like the fact that before we were even out of the chapel there were workers piling up the chairs so quickly- effecient yes, not a nice touch if you ask me. The cocktail hour food started out cold and then it got warm, at the reception, the room was FREEZING! and I am never cold. The food was so so. My prime rib tasted bland, as did a lot of other people complain there dishes were bland and luke warm. Do not get me wrong it was a nice place, and if I was going to have a wedding there, I would just make sure these few things were fixed. There was a Vienessehour, it was delicious- but a lot of people were not taking it becuase it was so late at night and they were so full. The waiters and staff were incredible, they made sure the drinks were flowing, and plates were cleaned off immediately. The salad and fruit was good also, and the wedding cake was excellent. Just wanted to let anyone know if they are planning there wedding there, to make sure these things were starightened out before hand- make sure food was warmed up more, and to turn down air conditoner.

oh great- i'm getting married there on saturday. i thought i had enough to worry about- didn't know i needed to worry about crest hollow too.

I was at a wedding there in August and it was real cold in the reception room as well. But everything else went well it seemed. I am actually going again tonight for a sweet 16.
