Advice regarding Reception Hall (Crest Hollow)
I just wanted to know what everyone's thoughts were... I called my reception hall on Monday and asked to speak with my banquet manager. I have not spoken to him since August. So they transfer me to someone else who is tells me that the manager i was working with is not there ....he is on an extended leave of absence and they are not quite sure when he will be back... So i start to freak and i tell him i need help, i am getting married in 2 months and i need to start finalizing my menu, details, etc..... So he was very nice.. he was also a banquet manager and he tells me he would be glad to help me.. He would speak with his directors and call me back so that we can set up a time for us to meet to finalize things. He has not called me back yet. So i am thinking i will call by Monday afternoon if i dont hear from him... He was a very nice man and was very accommodating and calmed me down very well and assured me everything would be just fine.. He even said that if i didnt like him i could request another manager. Well should i try him out and see how i like him or should i be upset that he has not called me since Monday...Are there any fellow crest hollow brides who can recommend a great banquet manager they have worked with? i know someone that got married at crest hollow and she wound up working with like 3 banquet managers... so i am not that worried and her wedding turned out great... Just some thoughts... I appreciate it..

Don't freak out...and yes, I would call back on Monday. I'm sure that one of the other managers can help you...not sure why they didn't call you back all week though. People come and go all the time...just like people in your industry probably change jobs all the time, so do banquet managers. I wouldn't worry.

Re: Advice regarding Reception Hall (Crest Hollow)
I got married at Crest Hollow last month and worked with Leo - he was great and I would recommend him. All of the BM's there are very capable - I have spoken with a number of them. So don't worry about it. i would start working with another one now and call back on Monday. A few times they would not return my call but it was rare and I would just let them know that when I called back and they were apologetic. I was paranoid and nervous about all of these little things that I thought Crest Hollow was forgetting about but they are such professionals and do this all the time, that they know exactly what theyr'e doing. FM for any other advice but I would start working with someone else- of course they should have let you know this before, but whats done is done. Good luck and let me know who you are now working with.Welcome New Vendors
