Huntington Townhouse New Years Eve Review

I just wanted to give a little mini-review of the New Years bash at HTH. Overall, it was very good. The food and the service were terrific, and although there were over 1200 people you never felt cramped or anything. Everything was set up beautifully. And I had fun giving my friends 'tours' and showing them where we will be having everything for the wedding. My only complaint about NYE was the DJ they chose to use, Precision Sounds. He was obnoxious and arrogant and he cursed at people over the microphone. And the music he was playing sucked. Half the people there weren't even dancing. Thankfully he is not our DJ. The only cool thing was that Vic Latino from KTU came on the mic around 12:30 for a little while. My friends and I had more fun at the house we all went to after the HTH, and it was all because of the sucky DJ they had. But no one had any complaints about the HTH itself. I am looking more forward to my wedding than ever before!!!

I was at the HTH New Year's Eve too. I agree about the DJ. I noticed that a lot of people left kind of early, and I bet that's why.

That place is beautiful. I'm sure you're going to have a great wedding!!

Kel, were you upstairs in the Club Party? Or down in the Dinner Party? We were upstairs. We couldn't believe how empty it got just after midnight. And it was probably becasue of the DJ. Did you enjoy the party? How many people were you with? We had 2 tables of 13!!! I just love being with my friends. We do it every NYE. We have done it for the last 3 years now. Each year we go some place else. We said next year we might just get a bunch of hotel rooms and make our own party!!

We were at the club party too. There were about ten of us. I couldn't believe how many people left right after midnight. I thought I was in the minority, not liking that kind of music. But it seemed like a lot of people didn't care for it. I wonder if the music downstairs was better...

I've never gone somewhere like that for New Year's. It was great! I would do it again, but hope for better music.

I know you were worried about the HTH because of complaints you heard... I am glad you were able to have a great first hand experience to ease your mind

It is great being with friends anytime but especially on NYE. Just be happy that DJ is not yours!

Glad to hear you were happy with almost everything.Sorry to hear the dj was not good.We went to the meadow club and everything was good.Hopefully you can get a good dj for your reception.Louise
