Question Regarding Shoes.

I want a big heal for ceremony and dance since I am 4'10 and my FH is 5'11. I will definetly be changing my shoes after the dance so I can DANCE. Today my friend said what about alterations. They will be altering the dress according to my shoe height. When I change shoes will I be tripping all over my dress?

Re: Question Regarding Shoes.

Yes, if there is a big difference in your heels you will be dragging your dress. I have about a 3 inch heel and want to get a little lower one for reception but am skeptical for that purpose!

Re: Question Regarding Shoes.

I got a 3.5 inch heel for my wedding shoes. I spoke to the manager at the place where I bought my dress and she said if I wanted like to buy other shoes in addition to the 3.5 inch heel shoes, to not go lower than 2 3/4 inch heel. She said that I shouldn't drag my dress with a 2 3/4 inch heel once my dress is bustled.

Re: Question Regarding Shoes.

i am also 4'11' and i just bought shoes with a 3.5 inch heel too (see my earlier post ). i am going to buy though the big platform sandels that brands like steve madden and rocket dog make. i will just cut a hole in my stockings to make them capri LOL! this way, i will still get the height so my dress wont drag.

What a great IDEA. BTW they sell Stockings that have the toes missing cause my cousins had them for the weddings they wore sandels (sp)
