FH's best friend's fiance is wearing the same bridal gown as me and their wedding is before ours

i was flipping out. FH is the best man at his best friends wedding. her fiance will be wearing the same exact bridal gown as me. this means that FH and FIL's will see the gown on someone else before me. im so sad!!! i love my gown and this ruins it.

i was talking to her the other day and she was describing her dress and we fngured out that we have the same exact dress.
FH is very close to his best friend since elementary school so his friend is inviting FH's parents to the wedding as well.
i am so upset. everyone keeps saying no one will notice but i wanted to feel like my dress was special and unique.

i think that the dress will look different on you then it did her but if it bothers you that much can you possibly exchange it and order another one?

But I do agree with the other ladies. No two people can wear the dress the same. Somehow it will look different on you.

But wait, did you tell FH that the dress is the same? Don't mention it to him! That way, he won't know to look at it that day and he's a boy - by the time you guys get married he'll never put 2 and 2 together!

I could only imagine how you feel. But it is true, no two people wear the dress the same. Perhaps you can have the bridal salon alter yours somehow...they do this all the time.

No one remembers, especially a guy! Trust me!!! I can't even remember what my best friend wore last year and I was the MOH!

thanks girls for your support. i wouldnt exchnage the dress b/c i know its the dress and its already ordered hollow to hem for me. when people say, it will look differently on her the only thing i can think if is that she is taller and skinner then me and the dress will probably look better on her. the weddings are two months apart, and yes FH knows. i freaked out and then i thought- o know he'll see my dress

oh im sorry, imsure you will look better in it if that makes you feel any better! Remember different accessories, flowers, hair and make up will all make the dress look different

well can u post the dress...maybe with all of us together theres something we can think of that 'll make it seem different?
