Re: has anyone bought a wedding gown online
Had an amazing experiance with bridesave.comThey helped me with color, flowers that would match the beading color (that I never saw in person until my dress arrived), measuring, etc & so on.
Loved saving the $$$.
My dress also came in two weeks prior to the guaranteed date.

How much are you saving from ordering it online compare to in a bridal salon?

Re: has anyone bought a wedding gown online
I tried the dress on at Bridal Reflections (and I did not know what size the sample was) and ordered the size based on the size chart.I ended up getting my alterations at Shoreham Bridal where my MOH purchased her dress. It was not cheap since I didn't buy the dress there but it was still less than I think BR was charging for alteration cap & bustling.
I still ended up spending about the same out in total as just the price of the dress at BR.

BR quoted me $1100 for my Maggie Sottero, $275 alt cap & I don't remember how much for bustle which was additional.
I paid $745 for my dress & $350 for alterations (which were the hem, cups, bustle, cleaning & pressing) (I think those are the right numbers).

Re: has anyone bought a wedding gown online
I saved a load with Bridesave too, but I didn't buy from them. I bought my dress from RK bridal, but since they do price beating, I used the price I got from Bridesave and was able to save $300.

I got my Maggie from weddingexpressions.com and it is perfect! Got it for half of what I would have paid in the salon.

Yes, if you bring the ad from Bridesave or netbride, they will beat the price by 10%. Netbride had my MS dress, originally $870, for $575 or something like that, and RK bridal beat the price so the total with tax was about $577.

Re: has anyone bought a wedding gown online
I also purchased my gown from Bridesave and had a very positive experience. I found my Maggie Sottero at a two bridal salons for over $1,000 and found it on Bridesave for less PLUS I ordered during a month that they were having an additional 10% off Maggie Dresses. I saved close to $300.I loved the way the dress arrived, very neatly packaged in tissue paper with a congratulatory wedding card from their staff and certificate of authenticity that it was indeed a Maggie. The dress had all tags sewn in and was in perfect condition.
