How Old is your ring bearer
We wanted to use my FH's nephew, but he'll only just be 2 so we are nervous.

Re: How Old is your ring bearer
That will be so cute. If your flower girl is a little older, possibly she can hold his hand and lead him.I've also heard of people decorating a wagon and kids strolling it down the aisle.
Mine is 7 years old.

Re: How Old is your ring bearer
We are having 2- ages 7 and almost 3. The older one will hold the younger one's hand, just in case!

Re: How Old is your ring bearer
Hmmmm, I'd really like to use him but I don't think he'll cooperate. Then we have his cousin's children, a 4 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. That might work out better if his sister holds his hand. Plus he's HUGE for a baby, so it makes me think he is more mature for some odd reason.

Re: How Old is your ring bearer
Ours is about 18 months. We think he is a little mature, he is Fh's nephew and both of his parents are in the BP, so we figure if he sees them at the atler, he should have no problem walking towards them. If he has trouble, we will just have FSIL come down and get him

Re: How Old is your ring bearer
I actually have two. One is my nephew who will be 7 and the other is my fh cousin who is also 7. Im sure it should be funny though, the last wedding he(my nephew) was in was for his father and he walked down the aisle hitting people on the back of their heads with his pillow. The two of them together Im sure will create some kind of trouble! But im ready for it, lol

Re: How Old is your ring bearer
ours is 4 1/2 ...I'd say just make sure you have a rehearsal with him! ...and concider the options...
do you want him to actually carry the ring, or is it for show?
Is there a flower girl he can walk with so he's not so nervous?
I've seen tons of 2 and 3 year old ring bearers...and they are the cutes little tuxedo wearing things ever!
Don't worry..just be prepared!
ps: if something is going to happen - it's going to happen. When my parents were married (and note that they were divorced not 10 years later), my mother personally tied the ring with a double knot to her pillow...and her then 14 year old ring bearer brother managed to loose it! They did find it..in the gutter outside of the church!
Well...for her it might have been a warning sign (He wasn't a good husband) ...but anyway...
