Opinions wanted
Looking for completely honest opinions ladies. I am so not the woman to put on a dress and know that "it" is the one. I have tried on over 2 dozen and I have found a bunch that are nice. I've been eyeing this dress but have some concerns. I will be having an outdoor ceremony and reception at The Riviera. For those who are unfamiliar with the decor, it has a very rustic feel to the room. I'm wondering if this dress is more for a black tie affair.

Re: Opinions wanted
Stunning and that is the most figure flattering dress! Would you consider, in a place that is rustic with an outdoor event, wearing flowers in your hair -- especially for a daytime event. Elegant and simple. These pics were worth waiting for!

Re: Opinions wanted
It's a beautiful dress..The key question, I think, is whether you feel comfortable in it...does it make you feel "special"...is the way you look in it the way you want to look on your day...and in your pictures? It sure is pretty...I like the way the overskirt comes into the front of the dress!

Re: Opinions wanted
I was thinking of doing flowers in my hair with this dress. Something simple, no tiara and just a simple veil attached from the back.
I will be trying it on this Saturday so I will have to let you all know

Re: Opinions wanted
i know it sounds cliche, but you'll know and feel it when you find the right dress, but i do think that dress is very elegant.

Re: Opinions wanted
It's a beautiful dress! I'm also not the type of woman to put on a dress and know that it's "the one" but everyone keeps saying you'll know. If you just think it's a beautiful dress then maybe you should try some others until you feel like the dress you're wearing makes you feel like a bride! I know that was not helpful at all-sorry!

that's really beautiful - i'm really loving the dresses where that top piece kind of opens and flares out.
i think it's a beautiful dress!

Re: Opinions wanted
i am having a similar dilemma - vineyard european outdoor wedding thing, and the gows I love are very elegant and seem black tie...
But, I do think you can "dress it down" as terrible as that sounds for a wedding dress!
Like Deb suggested, I will be doing flowers in my hair and a loose, wavy style to really soften the look (okay, don't officially have my dress yet, but I know what kind I am attracted to and going to end up with!)
Go with your heart - I think the soft, flowy material makes it less fancy, and although sparkly, it has a "relaxed" feel to it.
You will look lovely in whatever you wear!

Re: Opinions wanted
I think it's perfect - as long as it flatters your body type - go for it! I also like the idea of flowers in your hair. Just a thought - but I also pictured your hair swept up (not too formal), and you can, if you want a veil for the ceremony, wear just a short one (maybe one layer) underneath your hair, with the flowers on the side. I don't know if I am describing what's in my head, but I've seen it done, and it looks nice. Hope that is helpful!

Re: Opinions wanted
Thanks so much for the tips. When I try it on this Saturday I will try and picture my hair done loosely with subtle flowers. I think that is what may make my decision. And to top it off, there is a place I can get it cheaper than BrideSave.com. I didn't think it was possible. So I might be able to get my dress for under $300. Big Bonus there!

Re: Opinions wanted
What a stunning dress!!! I really wouldn't worry about the dress going with the room. I've been to the Riviera and I think it would be fine. Besides, who's going to remember what the room looks like when they see you in that dress??!!

I will be the odd person out and say I don't like it. I don't think the gathering in the front is very flattering.

Re: Opinions wanted
I don't think there is such a thing as being "too" formal on your wedding day. If you love it, and that's the only thing holding you back, go for it!

Re: Opinions wanted
It's perfect! I think the fact that it is chiffon makes it even more suitable for an outdoor wedding with a rustic feel. It seems that you can already picture yourself in it!
