Re: did anyone get 're-married' on their honeymoon?

i've been thinking about doing this for a while... i think it would be so special! in the end it will probably depend where we go - we would only do it if we could have it in the tradition of the place we are going to.

that is a good idea, you should do it if you can. We want to renew our vows on our first year anniversary.

Re: did anyone get 're-married' on their honeymoon?

We might do it. I've heard something about getting 'hitched' at the ice cream social at disney... We definitely plan to doa full blown vow renewal there after a number of years. Their wedding pavillion is fabulous!

Re: did anyone get 're-married' on their honeymoon?

I think that's a cool idea-- and a lot of places offer that- since so many people are doing destination weddings.. I plan on getting dressed up and hiring the professional photographer at the resort regardless..

Re: did anyone get 're-married' on their honeymoon?

I've never even considered this until I read this post. Now, I want to. That way FH and I could get remarried on the beach, like I've always wanted.

Re: did anyone get 're-married' on their honeymoon?

ok...i looked into it for sandals (so butterly bride since we are going to the same place here is the info)

you should book it through your travel agent and there is a $150 government fee.

we are thinking about it, but not sure if we are going to do it....it was just a thought we had had...

The resort we are going to has a free wedding for anyone that books for 7 or more nights- I am thinking about doing it- I think it would be romantic being as it will be more private . . .

Re: did anyone get 're-married' on their honeymoon?

DH and I are planning on having a small destination renewal ceremony for our 10th anniversary. That's a long time off, but I think it will be beautiful. I want to wait long enough so that our kids can be a part of the renewal.
