6) I have a bit of a plane phobia. I've only gone on 7 round trip flights (so, 14 total). Take-off and landing are the worst and I'm pretty freaked out until we reach cruising altitude. I think it has something to do with me being a control freak--I know I can't fly a plane no matter how easy that stewardess in "Turbulence" made it seem.

7) My other career ambition was to be an FBI profiler (before it became "cool")

8) I can eat an entire Plenty Pack of gum in one day. Oh, and I swallow my gum. I know, that's gross right?

9) I'm really clumsy. I trip over things all the time even when I've seen that they're on the ground.

10) I'm 1/2 Hispanic. No one ever guesses because of the blonde hair/blue eyes thing (both natural).

ok, I'll give it a go....

1)I get panic attacks....
2)I tend to say "but you dont understand"...alot.... "but you dont understand", I dont feel good.... "but you dont understand", I NEED another pair of shoes!!
3)I am in love with my dog. No really, I am.
4)I am a horrible driver, but I swear I am the world's best!
5)I could eat cookies for every meal, everyday!
6)I HATE FLYING! and I hate to travel too far from home, I have a fear something will happen to me, or someone I love!
7)My parents passed away within 6 months of each other, 2 and half years ago, and sometimes I really do believe that it doesnt get easier!
8)Because of #7 planning this wedding is bittersweet and I have developed a very quick temper!
9)I am soooooo in love with my FH!!

1. I have an unhealthy obsession with "MY" Dunkin Donuts-I hate to buy coffee anywhere but my usual place and feel like I'm "cheating" if I get coffee somewhere else.

2. I'm obsessed with One Tree Hill.

3. I have a secret desire to be a bad a$$--even though I'm completly straight edge.

4. My voice squeeks when I laugh really hard.

5. I turned FI down the first 2 times he asked me to hang out.

1-I'm addicted to Reality TV...I love all the shows

2-I love school supplies, I always am buying new pens, notebooks..planners but I dont tend to actually USE them.

3-I got the highest grade ever in my High School on the Social Studies Regents in 11th grade ( and my teacher told me I cheated...ummm cheated from who? I got the higest grade REMEMEBER? )

4-I'm obsessed with magazines. If I could I would buy every single one out there every month and I have to hid them from FH all the time because he thinks they are a waste of money ( they are, but I love em anyway!)


5-My favorite food is Lobster Bisque soup, I could eat it every day for the rest of my life.

6-I had the chicken pox TWICE, Scarlet Fever TWICE and Whooping cough when I was young ( all three I was suppossed to have been vaccinated against)

7-I've had panic attacks since I was 17 and was even agoraphobic for almost a year when I was 22...I couldnt even go to the mailbox

8-I have a tendancy when I see something cute to scream " OH MY GOD" and scare the SH!! out of people near me ( but I cant stop I have tried!)

9-I'm addicted to shopping, I dont think I've gone more then 2 days in my life without buying SOMETHING...and to add to that I'm addicted to High end Make-up. I once spent $475 in Sephora and I swear I walked out with a "small" bag. I buy regular stuff but I feel like I'm cheating on my devotion to Lorac, Stila , Nars etc..


10--I'm addicted to coffee ( in very large quantitys) I could seriously not function or wake up without a cup of coffee and I drink it all day long.

And because I always share WAY too much some more weird things--

-I smoke and am going to quit after the HM
-I'm an only child by my mom but my Dad had 8 kids! I have 6 half sisters and a half brother
-I'm still upset that Dawson's Creek ended and cant even watch the re-peats because I get upset that its over
-I LOVE to drink but I'm a bad drunk
--I love the NY Yankees and still have not recovered from them trading Tino Martinez

-I love thunderstorms even though I lie and say they scare me

Here are my other 5

6- My parents got divorced when I was 9 months old, my dad remarried about 3 or 4 years after that.

7- I went to East Strousburg U for a semester by missed everyone so much, I had to come home (and I used to go away to camp for 7 weeks every year, very strange)

8- I miss HS and sometimes I wish I could go back (not recently though since one of the best teachers suddenly passed away last week)

9- I wish I met FI grandpa, I have heard he was an Italian version of my Poppy, so that would have been fun

10 - I also miss my grandpa. He passed when I was 14, and though I knew him the best of all the grandkids, I still feel like I didn't know him.

I'm also convinced I should have been born 10 years earlier since my favorite music and movies are mainly from the 80's, and I secretly wish I could dress in all those frills and polka dots. Also, my hair would have been much more acceptable in the 80's.

1. I'm the only child
2. I speak five languages ( some of you knew that already)
3. I always hated my eyes and thought that looked a little devilish since they are really light and see throughish, Now I love them!!!
4. I used to have a major fro and ppl used to make fun of me in elementary school, and now I blow it out and get it chemically straightend (only the good stuff though) once a year and I only have to wash my hair once a week, its great!!!
5. I can eat sweets all day long, I will not anything all day, and then sit down and eat a cake
6.I lost a lot of weight starting the summer going into my sophmore year of college, and have kept it off and am still losing slowly. I'm now a size four-six used to be a size twelve!!!
7. I hate to work out, I can't, I hate it,, have tried it, doesn't work for me..
8.I don't get close to too many people, but the ones I get close to are my true friends and know everything about me.
9.I loooove my birthday, and want to make it into a national holiday
10.I've never eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in my life, nor have I eaten fluff, or many candy bars (butterfinger etc...) even though I love sweets....Don't blame me, my parents are foreign I was always the weird kid with the smelly lunches.....

This is great!

1. I hate chocolate chip cookies. (Weird, right?)

2. I hate the white creme in the middle of oreo cookies.

3. Everyone loved sitting near me during snack time (see #1 and #2)

4. I have a problem with locked doors. I will check them once more after I lock them and then worry for a while if it's locked...for example we'll lock the car door and halfway to the house I'll worry that I didn't lock it. I forget that I checked. This used to drive FH crazy. I'm also bad with the front door. I'll get on th bus to work and worry that I didn't lock the front door.

5. In HS I had a really bad attitude - very unhappy kid but I met FH in college and things changed for me. I've been working ever since to be a better person.

6. I have a little sister that I adore but haven't seen in 3 years.

7. FH and I are having a very hard time with his family - has gotten progressively worse in the last two years.

8. I have been on Atkins for about 6 years now and took off 70 pounds.

9. I swallow my gum too.

10. When I am flipping through the channels and I come across the indian music channel I will stop and watch until FH makes fun of me.

1 - I have an irrational fear of sharks

2 - I planned my wedding around my hair (I think fall is one of the least humid times of year)

5 - Amadeus has been my favorite movie since middle school (so much so that I ended up making German my minor in college, and then found a way to spend a year in Germany after college on a work / study program)

Okay first i have to say...galina i can't believe you dated chip!!

I love getting to know your girls!! You're all so cute in your own special ways!!

1. Probably the accomplishment I'm most proud of is losing over 100 lbs in the last few years (a combo of diet and excercise with a bit of weight watchers mixed in )

2. I'm deathly afraid of being in the basement alone.

3. When I sneeze I can probably start an earthquake! (it's as loud and obnoxious as my personality)

4. I'm a bit on the psychic side...I have feelings about things or know things before people tell me or I see them.

5. I'm very musical. I can play the flute, piano, and violin and I've also taught myself to play the guitar. Did I mention my love of karaoke?

6. I'm a a glutton (see number 1)!! My favorite activity is eating and/or drinking. I know it's pathetic...

7. I like to walk around the house naked when no one is home.

8. Almost every morning I listen to music and put on some high heels and dance in my room! Lately though, I've been listening to wedding music and crying

9. I'm obsessed with reality tv.

10. I have lots of fears and my biggest one is losing Ray. There's this quote "If you lived to be 100 years old, i would want to be 100 minus 1 day so i would never have to live a moment without you." That's how I feel. The loss of my grandmother and uncle whom I was very close to have really affected me and now I have a fear of all my loved ones leaving me.

1. I was the good girl that hung with the bad crowd at school. My school was an all-girls convent
2. I still blush furiously when embarrassed or shy.
3. I am so allergic to penicillin that my tongue swells up and could choke me, but I still won't wear the horrible bracelet.
4. I love tomato soup but hate anything else tomato'y.
5. When I was 15 my family rented a house on FI that was next door to Steeley Dan - and I didn't know who they were!
6. I used to think I was adopted when I was a small child, even though I'm identical to my sister and father.
7. I'll be the youngest president of the Ladies Hibernians at my division when I am installed next year - I'm VP now.
8. I'm in the US 5 years and I still get home sick.
9. I only met my FI's mother three times. She had been very sick and passed away just after we met. I know I would have loved her, she was a trip!
10. I had chicken pox twice also, the second time when I was 30 and it was hell.

Here are some things about me.

1. I'm an only child.

2. I'm obsessed about food--I think eventually I will have to open a restaurant because I'm always so curious about what people eat.

3. I'm an INCREDIBLY picky eater (go figure that I'd be obsessed with food) For instance, I won't eat pot roast or meatloaf, but I'll have hamburgers, I hate steak, won't eat anything in a cream sauce, hate 98% of all pasta.

4. In a past life I think I was a R&B/soul singer (I love Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Barry White, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole etc etc)

5. I am/was pretty involved with my sorority and almost took my first job with them (instead of where I am now)

6. I get rather bit#$y when I'm not clean.

7. I LOVE the show ALIAS

8. Harrison Ford was my first "dream boat"

9. My dad and FFIL went to HS together.

10. I used to eat McDonalds for breakfast everyday from the time I was in Kindergarten until I was a junior in HS.

thanks to everyone who is posting - it's so interesting to read everything and I find that what I thought were my little peculiarities are pretty common - which is so refreshing!

1. I had my tonsils removed at 29 - best thing I did. . . haven't had a single sore throat since (I'm 31) Highly recommend it to anyone who gets chronic sore throats/snores/bad allergies/sleep apnea.
2. I am insanely afraid of frogs.
3. I've hated my middle name all of my life and yesterday I put it on my wedding invitation (apologies to anyone with the name jean - it's fine on its own - but Deirdre Jean is just bad, imo. . . dont know why I put it on the invitation, I really dont.
4. one of my life's goals is to read and see all of Shakespeare's plays - have read all of them and need to see about 10 more.
5. if I could register at staples or office depot, I would.
6. If i could change one thing about FH I would make him more enthusiastic about travel - I love it and have a hard time imagining how someone would rather not go all over the world.
7. I have a crush on John McEnroe. . . I've always had a crush on him - even when he had the 'fro and the headband and short shorts back in the day.
8. I read 4 newspapers a day for pleasure - the truth is more interesting than fiction - and oftentimes is less believable.
9. I teach college and love it!
10. my 2005 resolution is to run a half marathon.

1. I was born in London (my parents were teaching there) and I have dual citizenship

2. I never thought I wanted to get married and FH totally changed my mind in an amazingly short amount of time

3. I love to travel and even spent a summer in college in Italy as an au pair

4. I am a die-hard political fanatic. Rarely watch TV and if I do, it is C-SPAN or news related 90% of the time.

5. My sister gets US weekly and I devour it every week. Love that cheesy celeb gossip

6. FH and I have thrown ourselves into wedding planning, something I never thought I wanted to do and I am loving every second. Fam and friends are shocked by how much I love it and everyone is impressed with how involved FH is.

OH my gosh..me too..actually its the whole SV (stomach virus) thing...People think i'm sooooooo crazy but i'm so scared I will get one I freak myself out..If I dont feel good its automatically a SV..lol..I can hardly say the word
