I have but I am using my normal hairdresser & her friend is a makeup artist....They did my for my brother's wedding & I could not be happier!

are you going to do a trial or anything?? I was thinking of just going with my regular hairdresser too and doing the trial for a wedding that I am in in Nov... but i see so much talk on here about using all these great and fabulous people! decisions decisions!

I am in search of a make-up and hair person. My regular hiar dresser up an dmoved back home to Canada about 6 months ago and i have not had luck finding someone I click with.

I want to do a trial for both (preferably at the same place) on the same day that I do my engagement shoot (hopefully in late march).

Any ideas, recommendations?

i will most likely use the girl who cuts my hair now. she is also my sisters hairdresser, and her wedding is in august, so i'll see how her hair turns out. as far as make up, i'll go for a few trials and see who i like the best.

For hair I'm using my regular hair dresser and for make up I'm using Oksana, a vendor on here. I did a trial the day of my engagement shoot and loved how it came out.

the trials are cheaper than the day of the wedding. the prices vary with each artist. i think the average price is between 100-125

I haven't started looking yet....but i always wonder what I am gonna do about lipstick. Everytime I kiss FH will I have to reapply? It's gonna look like crap by the time I get to the hall. Anybody else?

I am having my normal hair dresser do my hair and my friend does make up so I may use her. She didmy make up for fun right after i got engaged and it came out great. She is trying to get into doing brides so if anyone would like her number m sure she would give a competitive price and a trial....and if you dont like her you just wouldnt book her!!!

For make-up, I'm using this woman Donna who I go to for facials at Abraxas Salon in Huntington, NY.

For hair, my aunt is doing mine, but for the Bms, I'm clueless. I've priced around, and a friend of mine actually recommended a new vendor on here, her first name is Marlene, I'm drawing a blank on her last and the name of the business. Her hair and her bm's hair was fabulous for her wedding. I found her to be around the same price as everyone else, and she was willing to travel to Shirley (that sometimes is the deal breaker). So she was on my top 3 list. Right now I'm waiting on my mom's, friend's sister to call me back to see what she offers.
