RP from BHB... Did your veil have...

any stones on it? I'm trying to decide on stones or no stones (big price difference). I would love to see pics if anyone has to help me decide whether it's that noticeable. Thanks girls!

I had a plain veil with a sparkly headpiece - my dress was heavily beadded on top

Are you're talking about the rhinestones on the veil itself?? That was an option for me but once I put it on and dimmed the lights the shadow from the rhinestones made dots on my face and I didn't like how that looked.

i had stones on mine and i don't remember any dots. I will look for soem pictures to show you tonight when I get home.

I had rhinestones on my veil, and there are no shadows or dots on my face whatsoever in pics. I liked the effect it gave my veil and it compliemented my dress and tiara

For that matter you cannot even really see the rhinestones on my veil in pics ... it makes it shimmer a little bit more, thats about all

the camera really didn't pick it up whatseover, I was going to post a pic but I simply cannot find one where you actually SEE the rhinestones on the veil

FYI.....

They say Rhinestones come out in photos as black dots and Swarovski crystals don't come out as black dots in photos

It would be Swarovski crystals on the veil, I just don't know if I could justify the extra few hundred dollars-who knew these decisions would be so hard!

I had an inexpensive headpiece but also had the crystals on my veil!!!

That's the way I justified it!

Is this true? Thanks, I've been wondering for a while what's the difference between the rhinestones and crystals.

How much additional is the price for the crystals?

I had small crystals on my veil and no problems with dots in photos or on my face. I actually have a veil that I'm selling that has double-sided crystals which is the best of both worlds.

I also had a veil with no stones. Since my dress also had a lot of detail with beading and stitching, I opted not to get the veil with stones.

Mine had stones...the woman at Patchogue Floral suggested gluing stones onto the back of each stone to cover the metal. I had her do it for me and had no problems.

mine had pearls and buggle beads to match the bead work on my dress. i didnt notice it being extra noticable in the pics but the video it looks really pretty
