Commack Wedding Center! I cant believe....

How nasty and inconsiderate they are. I went to purchase my invitations there Despite all your warnings, girls. They had great service at the sell but that soon ended!
I was just getting a few last minute invites put together and realized that I was 25 outer envelopes short. When i called they immediately started with "our policy....counting b4 u leave...blah blah blah!" I understand all that but i really only needed 10 or so more, no help, they got the manager Bob on the phone. Bob was so stubborn and rude he flat out said that he would not send me any envelopes and cut me off every attempt i made to defend my plight! I became so frustrated after 10 minutes of just trying to get some darn envelopes that I said " Wow you seem to be living up to your rep" He then said "SO WHY DID YOU BOTHER COMING HERE IF WE HAD SUCH A BAD REP? YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER COME HERE...BUH BYE!" When i asked him is last name or position he said none of your buisness. You dont need it!! I tried 1 more x to respond, and try for some envelopes but he again repeated Buh- Bye with a snide attitude and hung up on me!! b I HATE CWC!!!!!!

Oh yea i spent over $800 on these invites!!

I swear I would call them tomorrow and tell the that you are blowing them up on this board and that you are going to make it your personal missions to tell as many BHB's as you know to not got there! Their behavior, especially the guy who refused to give you his name, are disgusting!

lol I did mention something to that effect and that I work for a very large school district full of nice young teachers that i love to rave about my vendors with....that is since Ive only had great experiences thus far....didnt phase him...he just laughed and said Buh-bye! JERK!!

I feel your pain... I have my fingers crossed, I ordered my gown through them and have had a good experience so far. But I refuse to deal with Bob, he is the owner and has spoken to me obnoxiously in the past. At the first bridal show I went to I asked him if any of his photography packages were negatives only with out the albums... because my mother is a wedding photographer in florida and I can use her labs for my photos and albums with out paying the overhead. HE LAUGHED AT ME! Told me "Good luck finding someone to do that! Especially on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend!"
After that I said figured I would never set foot in his shop... but I ended up speaking with one of the girls that worked there at a later show and she was so nice that went and spoke only with her!

Then, yesterday I posted about how I got a quote for my bridesmaid dresses from Netbride.com. Netbride will sell my girls the dresses for $137... the wedding center wants $175. So I called to let them know hoping that they would match it... well they tell me that they don't compete with internet prices... WELL YES YOU DO BECAUSE I AM GOING TO BUY FROM THEM!!!

Now I just hope my dress comes in ok!

It amazes me how they take your money with a smile and the minute you turn your back they treat you like a sucker! If only they knew just how many women go by these recommendations and warnings. Can you order your envelopes from the company direct and put a complaint in with them too?

that is crazy...once you have all that you need from them i would write out a review for them and let all brides know the deal so they don't make the same mistake!!

What color are they? Maybe someone has left overs that will match, I just checked I have 11 left overs but they are inners (creme lining) I will be more than happy to send them to you if they might help?

I also have extra outer envelopes, they are plain white, no lining, I probably have 25...FM me if you want them, I'll count them, and I'll mail them to ya tommorow...

I have extra inner envelops. I have extra outer ones but they are printed with my address. I would be more then happy to share. They are standard with pearl lining.

Oh yeah! They are well aware of their reputation on here. I called them about 2 months ago to ask if they had a particular BM dress in stock after one person gave a rave review of them. The man gave me this HUGE sales pitch about how they are a full service place and I could even rent his granddaughter for a flowergirl (yeah right). So I tell him that he had a good standing with a forum I belong to (little did I know) and then he starts going on about how he is shocked and usually he hears about how many people write negatives about them! I was shocked he was saying this to me!

What about reporting them to the BBB??? If you paid for a product and they shorted you, they deserve a blip on their record.

the worst part is even if you go there and one of the sales people is nice to you...he's the owner and he's the one making the money...I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of letting him touch my money...

U know what. I feel really sorry for you. I have gone there and I will tell you one thing the lady at the desk was rude. Me and my friend where looking for bridesmaids dresses, they dont even help u try it on. This man, Bob, is at msot of the Metro Expo shows. I hope he is at the one this weekend at the Mariott in Uniondale. I am going to tell him about his rude service. Dont worry girl we have your back.
