Votive Placecards made easy!

Hi girls!

There was a thread on BHB the other day about a company making pre-cut vellum for votive placecard holders.... I went to Michaels today (on route 110) and bought them-- they are really cool! It tells you which votive holders they are meant to go with and there is a website that has templates you can download right to Word to do them.... after you print them you just pop em out and stick em on.

Here's the website for the wraps... They were 40 labels for $4.99. Just thought I'd share for anyone looking to make these themselves!!

THANKS! I'm thinking of getting it instead of the Vellum I have to save time. I dont like the hearts so much though on top, but if may not look bad! Gonna check it out...Hope they have some left!

Genious! I was going to get a seating chart but I may do this to save money. Thanks for the link. Great info!

Where do you buy the votive holders and candles?

do they come in clear or just white vellum? i think i am going to put my monogram on them with a ribbon to place around my cp. does anyone have any pics?

I have an idea for the hearts since I don't like them too much. Are they small enough to put a ribbon over them? I planned on putting ribbons on my votive candle holders anyhow. Now I would just put them on top.

Okay I'm going to try to answer everyone's questions at once LOL. I did get them at the Michael's on Route 110. They still had quite a bit left. They were towards the end of an aisle on a rack. I bought the packages of labels, and on the package is the website (the link that I posted, that includes a template for Word). They only come in the vellum, with the hearts on top. I would say the hearts are about a centimeter tall and a centimeter wide so if it's a thick ribbon it might fit over it. Azad, I'm sorry I told you too late!

Maybe you could return the vellum if it's unopened? Also, I didn't buy ALL of the candles/votive holders yet, I am going to look around for the best price. I have a couple of sites saved and e-bay always has them cheap. As for the candles, I am going to use tea lights and probably get them at Bed Bath and Beyond cuz they have massive bags pretty cheap. I think I answered everyone... hope this helps!!

I just an email to the company suggesting that they make plain ones as well! I told them hundreds of brides would be interested in this product

Now hopefully they will listen....

I'm doing frosted because I personally think they look better - the light from the tealight is slightly more muted and the flickering throws off pretty shapes due to the frosting. Either will work fine though.
