What was the best bridal shower favor you received

My sister is getting married and she is the last to go. We have done some great gifts and really want her favor to be just as creative. Any ideas...?

BTW - I loved my shower favor ... I love tea so my sisters put together tea caddys with a potpori tea bag that had personalized tea labels.

My sister did something similar for me, but with coffee. I think it's the best favor I ever got. I loved the silver plated coffee scoop!

Another cute favor was a personalized chap- stick - but again the person loved chapstick, and was always putting it on, so whenever I used the chapstick - I thought of her.

Can you think of anything that your sister does or something she loves that can be incorporated into a favor?

I also liked my own favor from my shower.
My Bridal Party put together 2 bamboo stick in a little glass vase. They used rocks and little shells (my shower was a beach theme). I love it and everyone is still raving about what a great favor and how much they have grown.

My favorite was bath crystals in a nice glass jar. I took one home as a decorative item for my bathroom and the other i used.

For my sister we did a bar of soap, a body puff, and a rubber duck that said from So and So's shower to yours.

Actually that was her baby shower for her wedding we did a laddle,and splatula tied together with a wash cloth. We got all the supplies at a dollar store and didnt pay for than 3 or 4 bucks each.

I liked mine....since my wedding was very Irish my bridesmaids got Shamrock ornaments, they were beautiful! This year it was nice to see them on everyones tree!

I love coffee....so my BM bought really pretty coffee mugs that were tall and within my color theme and put a small bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee in each one and wrapped them up in tulle. They also make chocolate spoons to be used in the coffee. There was a cute saying attached.

one of my bms hand painted snowflakes on silver and purple ornaments and put a personalized ribbon on them and used that as one of my shower favors. i also think its really cool to see them on peoples trees

They did a candle for my shower, which I thought was good. People always like to burn a candle. They got Wedding Day scent from Yankee Candle and had them wrapped and a personalized label.

I've also gotten magnets, which I like since I use them all the time.

Mine shower had an asian them....being it was in an asian type restaurant. My girls got chinese take out boxes and had personalized fortune cookies made. So all the fortunes where wishes for my DH and I. Then they wrapped them all with ribbons with our names and in our colors (pink and grey) and stuck personalized chopsticks in them.

They were a hit....and different! We are still eating the fortune cookies!

My girls knew I loved chocolate covered strawberries so they made them but I also got a pug for my bridal shower so that was the best part!!!

I loved mine. My Mom and neice got pretty little tea cups and put tea lights in them. They wrapped them in tulle and tied them with the ribbons that had our names and dates on them, dried flowers and two gold rings.

I really loved the favors my sisters and mom did for my shower...they were candles shaped like a wedding cake...they wrapped them and tied them with ribbons to coordinate with my wedding colors...red and ivory.

I loved my shower favor the best. OUr fav food is ICE CREAM!! my mom picked out crome oxo lookin ice cream scoopers. I have 2 in my china closet still wrapped and 2 I use! Love em!

Thanks so much for all of your ideas! I am way ahead of the game for her shower won't be till the end of the year, but you can never be too prepared!

I received a ice cream scooper from pampered chef with chocolates(with brides name ingraved in choc.). Thought it was really cute.

At my shower, my mom gave the guest potted plants with an inscription on the pot as a keepsake after the plant dies. Everyone raved about it.

i got nice hand lotion, antibacterial gel and a scented soap a few times and loved it.....wrapped nicely in cellophane with that crinkle stuff inside....

i never recieved a good one but i know my co-bm and i gave a great one out. we knew we wanted a tea party so we made the favors into a tea kit. each guest left with a mini tea cup and saucer, 3 mini milano cookies, 2 round tea bags, and 3 heart shaped candies. cookies, tea bags, and candy were individually encased in a parchment envelope that i sewed up w different colored theads. all wrapped nicely, of course. it looked really nice and everyone loved them! i know, i know.. it's so tsk tsk when someone brags about themselves but i swear they were really nice

My mom gave out umbrellas at mine. The ribbon said for your next shower. I thought it was cute and I use the umbrella all the time.

We did a couple's shower and my husband loves PF Changs so our BP had it there...we rec'd loads of oriental favors, but most of all I love our silk chinese hats...we still wear them when we order chinese food in...it's a riot!

My friend did tiny rattles with a scroll attached saying donations had been made to a children's charity. Another friend did tiny stuffed bunnies with note attached saying they'd donated to a local animal shelter.

These were by far the best, I never remember little trinkets for the most part....

I liked my own shower favor- a picture frame from Michael's. It's the brass oval one with roses on it. Very nice! And, my cousin printed out "Susan's Bridal Shower March 28 2004" cards and put them inside the frame. Then, she put the frame in a white organza bag.

An african violet. I love plants/flowers and I thought it was really unique. Its still living from last year and when I look at it, I am remeinded of my friends shower.
