Body for LIFE girls??

I was wondering about doing this. So some questions I had were

1. How do the body for life bar taste??

2.Can u only order them on line or can u get them in a store somewhere?

3. How long have u been doing this for?

4. Did u take the challenge and get the stuff in the mail?

Thanks for helping decide if I really want to do this or not!!

I've never done the actual 'challenge' I just bought the book and did the program from that.

I never ate the bars either. I did like Balance bars and would buy them in bulk at Costco. I would eat them in the late afternoon as a snack or as I was running out the door if I didn't have time for breakfast. You have to watch the bars, though. Some of them, while high in protein, have a lot of carbs, fat and/or calories.

I first did the program (it's a 12-week program) about two years ago and pretty much kept in shape after that. It really made me consider what I was eating on a daily basis and made me think twice about certain things, especially sweets. I would always think is this really worth the calories? Also, it's really great to have a free day built in, because if you can hold off until your free day, you can have anything you want! I'm in week 6 of my second time through the program because after I got married and moved abroad, I really fell off the wagon and gained weight and have just felt really awful.

I'm halfway through the program now and feel a million times better. STarting to get back definition in my thighs, butt, stomach and arms!! I was honestly just feeling my thighs before, my co-workers must think I'm nuts!!! But it's a really great feeling!
