Anyone doing the Polaroid Guest Book?
Have you seen this - Looks like an easy way to do it - of course it's only 30 pages, so you'd probably have to have a couple of books!Photo Book

Re: Anyone doing the Polaroid Guest Book?
we're doing a polaroid guest book but to save money we're going to just buy a scrapbook or two and then put out some gluesticks and fun colors pens. our minimum is 150.. we'd need at least 3 to 4 books and that would be crazy for us.

Re: Anyone doing the Polaroid Guest Book?
I think it's a great idea -- but it seems a little expensive. Are there cheaper ones??

Those are actually Adesso albums! Same one I used. And no, I didn't need more than one book.

Re: Anyone doing the Polaroid Guest Book?
I love that idea, but it can definitely be done in an inexpensive way. We are all so creative, I bet someone could figure it out and suggest something. Maybe you can get bigger books, like scrapbooks and put more than one picture on a page.

Re: Anyone doing the Polaroid Guest Book?
I love that Idea....but my guest list is at least 165, so 30 pages won't be enough for me either. Maybe I'll make mine own with a scrapbook like someone had said.

This is probably a stupid question, but how does a polaroid guestbook work?

Re: Anyone doing the Polaroid Guest Book?
I was reading this post the other day on the Newlyweds board...ThreadThis is from MCDO15's post...
#1 - photo guest book wasnt for me.. i rather have a regular sign in book. ppl took the picture and either kept it or didnt right anything in the book. this does me no good. the point was to get a photo next to the picture. I dont blame la productions for that but how safe that idea that my guest would actually have to do something that required thinking.
I made note of that because we were tossing around the idea of doing one also.

Re: Anyone doing the Polaroid Guest Book?
I did it and it turned out to be a HUGE hit- most guests took their pic and wrote in the book- BUT I purchased the Adesso book- what a waste!!!!! B/c I had 175 guests I also purchased a photo guest book from target for 12.99 and that one WAS the HIT!!!!! Simplicity is better for guests who are drinking I guess- the Adesso book I didnt like either b/c there arent protective coverings for the photos and it was a bit complicated to get the pic into the page- total waste of 100 bucks- Not ONE person used that book even though it looked sharper too!!!! Def save your money and do a scrapbook or get the one from target- its really really nice! GL!!

Re: Anyone doing the Polaroid Guest Book?
I read somewhere that it works best if you have someone helping guests out with taking pictures and making sure they sign in the book as well...

Re: Anyone doing the Polaroid Guest Book?
I actually saw a similar idea in a girl's bio on the knot.com.....we are going to use our engagement pics that Duet took (we have like 80) and fill a scrapbook with them and have the guests sign around the pics - all I need to do is get a scrapbook and a cool silver or gold pen!Welcome New Vendors
