My thoughts on the new board, for LI Weddings

I would like to see a 'printable format' option. I`ve printed vendor and shop recommendations in the past, and I don`t want to have to print all the ads and headers - a waste of colored ink! I found the old format easier to read. Maybe I`ll get used to this. I prefer the way the subject line changed to indicate if it had been read, as opposed to the little dots. The type face is harder to read too. I tried to access the profiles and it just flipped me back to the index - couldn`t get in to see other profiles. I am glad to see that you didn't retain the Top 15 list! I was creeping up towards the top quickly - a sure sign that I should be working harder and chatting less!!!

I think the old board was easier to read the headings about what the other ladies are talking about.

I agree, how do you know if you read something already? And I too will often print a post to add to my file of wedding stuff.

I really like the old board better as well. It was much more user friendly. This new way may take a little getting used to.

This may sound weird, but, this new format doesn't seem like it's as much fun...I don't know, I think the other format was more addictive... I'm really having a hard time reading this format. I liked the other one better, but i wish Liweddings luck w/this new format! Ayanna

I don`t see that much of a difference from the old board. Actually I really like this one. The text isn`t going back and forth all over the page. I can read it beter and follow the threads.

I was a little shocked at first but now am getting adjusted!!!!!!! Not a bad job LIWeddings.

How do you read the threads??

When I go into the thread and what to read everything related to the subject I selected, it is impossible for me to know what I read last. Does anyone else have that problem?

If the message has a red dot it`s a new message from the last time you came to the board. If the link is blue you never read the message. The link turns purple after you read it. And when you are looking at a thread the message you are on is black and not a link. This is the same system that was on the old board.
