Two 13 year old girls, how can I get them involved?

Aside from doing the readings at my ceremony, what can I do to get 2 very important and special 13 year olds involved in my wedding and/or spotlight?

Handing out programs and bubbles or rose petals at the ceremony, or maybe getting people to sign the guest book as they come into the wedding reception?

Re: Two 13 year old girls, how can I get them involved?

Oh, I failed to mention, I'm not having a bridal party. I'm having two 11 year olds do the readings.

I have 2 best men, a maid, a matron.

A set of twin girls as my flower girls and one ringbearer (my godchildren).
That's it.

Re: Two 13 year old girls, how can I get them involved?

I have 3 great 'little girl' cousins. They are aged by the time the wedding is here next year 14, 11, and 6. I made the two older ones Jr. BM's and the youngest is the Flower girl.
They are so excited.
If you want the girls in the wedding party or they can help out the day of with the little details like programs or bubbles, rice, whatever. Good Luck!

Re: Two 13 year old girls, how can I get them involved?

I wanted my brothers girls 11 and 13 to be junior bridesmaids but my brother asked me to call them bridesmaids (without the junior) because he'd like them to feel as if they are more grown up. No sweat off my back.

My brother and I did this when we were around 14 for our coursin's wedding. We handed our programs as people entered and bubbles as they left.
If you're Catholic and having a mass they could bring up the gifts.

Handing out programs and bubbles or rose petals at the ceremony

This is what I am doing with my youngest sister and oldest niece, both around the same age...I am also giving them similar dresses to those of the bridal party- I just don't have any jr. groomsman!

Re: Two 13 year old girls, how can I get them involved?

there are a few options that you can do...

1- have them in the bridal party
2- hand out the bubbles or rose petals
3- hand out the programs
4- bring the gifts to the alter depending on religion
5- or have them have everyone sign the guest book.

i am having a 13 year old as my junior brides maid...that could be a big help and get them involved.....that would be my number 1 pic imo.
