Re: PROS AND CONS for East Wind - Country Gardens please!
the one thing that I did not like about Country Gardens was having the cocktail hour and reception in two separate buildings... what if it was pouring that day??? I guess everyone would get over it... but it just bugged me a bit, and that cocktail room is very small, so most of the guests usually are encouraged to be outside... which would be beautiful if you had a beautiful day... my wedding is in APril though, so I just KNOW it is going to rain... april showers... jmo

Very cute but small. I would not reccomend it for more than 80 ppl. The cocktail room is not set uo very well. The bridal suite is great and private. Lots of walking in high heels. It is good because of the hotel

Re: PROS AND CONS for East Wind - Country Gardens please!
Pros: -They have beautiful gardens! -One wedding at a time (the other east wind venues are at a separate location) -The food is good - The hotel is right there
Cons: -You have to walk outside to go from the cocktail room to the ballroom - The bridal suite is in the cocktail room building (you wont be going back there after the cocktail hour is over)
I was at a wedding there last summer and the setting was beautiful. They got some really great pictures. They had about 130 guests and it did not seem crowded at all.
ETA: It is a great place if it is a nice day.
