Four Seasons--Ritz Carltun

My FI & I are thinking of staying at a Four Seasons or Ritz Carltun--has anyone booked a honeymoon at one of these hotels? If so which one. I know there is one bride that booked her honeymoon at Four Seasons Nevis and I am really interesting in going there. If you could tell me how much you are spending and what package you chose and how many days it would be really helpful

I haven't stayed at the Four Seasons although DH did in Chicago. He said it was amazing. I have stayed at 3 different Ritz Carltons and they were all incredible. The service is above and beyond. The rooms are all very nice and comfy. The food is pretty good.

We just went on a trip and stayed at the Ritz in Maui and the Four Seasons on the Big Island - the Four Seasons was truly amazing - definitely the best of the hotels we stayed at in Hawaii, but the Ritz was lovely, and more than fine. I have also heard great things about the Four Seasons on Maui (but we were able to stay at the Ritz for free with points).

I have stayed at both the Four Seasons (Paris and Washington DC) and Ritz Carlton (Puerto Rico and San Francisco).

Both hotels are very nice. But for the most part they all look the same. In other words they do not reflect the decor of the island or city. So when you go to an island, DH and I now prefer staying at a smaller boutique hotel that is just as upscale. I thought the food was better at the Ritz Carlton personally, but it might have been those particular hotels. I doubt that there is really a difference between the chains. The Four Season's service is much more obsequious.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. Four Seasons is more expensive for sure. When we went to Paris, the Four Seasons charged over $900 a night. I am not sure whether I would pay that again for a hotel that does not have a beach. I have some pictures in my wedding review of the Four Seasons.
