I booked 16 months in advance. Thank God!!! Since then, prices have gone up twice all ready. Its always better too book early not only to guarantee availability, but prices also!!

I am getting married in Nov. I booked my photographer probably about 15 months prior. I haven't booked a video yet.

I booked about 13 months before. I didn't want to take the chance of him being booked. I booked all of my major vendors at least 12 months in advance.

We booked ours 17 months in advance and every weekend but ours was booked already!! But that is also because October is supposedly a big month to get married. We are planning on meeting with the videographer either this week or next week.

I am getting married in July 2006 and we booked ours 2 weeks ago. I wanted to insure that we would get the photographer that we wanted

I say the earlier the better...we booked ours about 18 months out....we lucked out b/c they raise their prices every June and we locked in the price.

I booked about 12 months before that is the first thing I booked since it is the most important thing. You will have these pics forever those are the memory of your special day so I advise research your vendors very carefully and I would start looking soon the research could take sometime

i booked mine in june of '04 getting married in nov...if I was you I would b/c the way things look there are alot of people getting married next year already so it wouldn't hurt.
