Question regarding North Bellmore

They sold the Bellmore army reserve area -- closed in 1996 -

are they building affordable housing? homeless shelter? park/pool?

Just wondering if anyone has any inside information regarding this 17 acre spot.

I think it is near maple Ave. There has been a lot of controversary on this with a lot of angry people going to meetings in the past. I would love to know myself.
