GTG PLACE

OK THE POLL HAS BEEN UP FOR SOME TIME NOW...

IT APPEARS THAT CHEESECAKE FACTORY IS THE SPOT...

THERE HAVE BEEN SOME RESERVATIONS AS TO THE WAIT...WHICH IS VALID...

SO EITHER WE JUST STICK WITH IT OR POSSIBLY MOVE IT TO ANOTHER PLACE

I HAVE NO PROBLEMS GOING A LITTLE EARLIER TO GET ON THE LIST AND POSSIBLY GETTING A TABLE SOONER...

SO PLEASE AIR OUT ANY THOUGHTS OTHERWISE IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS IT!

Re: GTG PLACE

I'm fine with the Cheesecake factory..I don't think the wait will be terrible at lunchtime.

Re: GTG PLACE

On a weekend? Honestly, I think it's going to be nightmarish!! DH and I were there on Wed night at 5:30 and it was packed!!

If we call ahead, with such a large party, do you think they'll hold a table?

Re: GTG PLACE

We are such a large party, it wouldn't hurt to call & at least let them know we're coming, maybe they can do something?

Also, I've found that when I've gone out w/ large groups, we've had the problem of sitting at a large, rectangualr table, which is fine, but it's definetly harder to talk & mingle with (or even SEE) the people at the other end, you know what I mean?
If we opt not to go to Cheesecake, does anyone know of any places that have large, round tables, or perhaps places where we can put two big round tables together???
That way, we can all talk to/ see each other better.
Just a thought.

DH and I went a couple weeks ago on a Saturday at 11:30 and waited an hour for a table for two... And they don't even have room to wait...I don't have many other suggestions, but there is a Panera bread right near Cheesecake...Or California Pizza Kitchen...

Re: GTG PLACE

My second choice would be Cozymel's. I've never been there, but I'd like to try it. I guess if we find out for a fact that Cheesecake Factory doesn't take reservations for large parties, we should go with something else.

Cozymel's is good for large parties ... it was an office lunch spot for us. If it's nice you cna even sit on one of the patio areas ...

ETA: Not to mention the kickass Margaritas!
