DIY Brides that made your centerpeices

How did you go about the set up on the day of the wedding...

Did you have a family member make sure evrything was set up to your specifications or did you just trust the hall to do the right thing.

My problem is that I am having a live centerpeice with Beta Fish. My hall said I can bring the centerpeices over when I drop off my final payment, but the fish have to be brought over the day of. I am kind of worried that things won't go smoothly with it...

Any Suggestions?

Re: DIY Brides that made your centerpeices

We haven't done it yet, but we will have some family members and friends set them up for us.

1/2 of our CP is by me - but it's just a vase and candles. The florist will put a flower wreath around each vase. I'm planning on setting up the CP at home and including a picture with each table's box.

Ask KimberlyBride, she made her own CP's for her engagement party and they were very pretty

Re: DIY Brides that made your centerpeices

I had a SIL, a friend and two cousins assigned to set up the tables. I didn't bring any of the CP to the hall in advance, because I was worried that over the course of the 4 days in between, something could happen to them (final meeting was Wed. and wedding Sun.) We only had 11 tables and 4 people were probably too many, but I also wanted them to be able to spend about 10 minutes setting up and then go enjoy the CH too.

I gave everything to my SIL the week before the wedding and my brother and SIL brought them to the hall the day of the wedding.

Re: DIY Brides that made your centerpeices

The florist who is doing our personal flowers is setting up my centerpieces as well. I am giving her everything the week before the wedding.
