Booking the Reception Place????

Hey girls!! This may be a silly question, but is it bad to book the first place you look at if you LOVE it???

I loved the first placed we looked at but after searching around some more, i found a place I liked even more...So we ended up not booking the first place!

No. We visited the WM and eventually went back to book after looking around. It 'fit' us.
Go for it...or ask the LIW for their experiences at the reception location for support.

We looked at three places and booked the first place that we saw because it was what we wanted.

We booked the first and only place we saw....we just knew it was for us!

I don't think it is bad. If you love it, and feel it's 'your place' then go for it!

I don't think teher's anything wrong with booking the first place BUT I do think you should see a minimum of three halls before making a decision. I thikn you'd be selling yourself short to not have any options. If after seeing three places you know the first one is for you, then go back and book.

Not at all. It's def ok to book the first hall you see, but you should see some more. You may fall in love with someplace else. Do your research online first and narrow down your choices. You never know.

go ahead and leave a deposit to hold the date...but it wont hurt to see other places....i wanted to book the first place i saw (crescent club), but my mother really didn't advise it...she's like....

'You don't just go out and buy a $30,000.00 car right off the bat...'....she did have a point there

We only looked at one place and we knew it was what we wanted. Book It!

not at all. I had 3 places on my list to look at, but when I walked into the Stewart Manor, I knew it was the place. I didn't bother going to the other 2 places.

I think you should look at some other places, you can always go back to the first if it is the one you love the most. I thought I loved the first place I looked at and was ready to book, and my parents convinced me to look at more places and I am so glad I did because I would up loving other places more. That first place actually wound up on the bottom of the list.

no, not at all. this way if you fall in love with another place as well its not to hard to choose. but you will defenatley know the right place.
