Wrong # OMG

I just tried to call the diner around the corner, and I dialed the wrong #. This man was sooo mean. I said that I was sorry and he he was like 'I don't believe a word you are saying, you are not sorry, and I don't accept it anyway!'

OMG!!! How mean!!
Just wanted to vent.

That's so mean!!! But he must get it all the time if his number is similar to the diner's.

My grandparents' number was one number off from a cab company and people used to call at all hours of the nigth. My uncle used to tell them 'Sure, we'll be right there'

He was so bad!

I called a hotel once and had the wrong number (one number off or inverted) The guy was so nice and actually knew the hotel number. When I apologized and felt SO bad about misdialing, he said he was just glad it was not 4AM like some others.

That is mean, however, my mom got some people once..
We always got calls for the Mobil station around the corner. One day, she was tired of them and when someone called to ask if their car was ready, she said 'Yep, in 10 mins'.

waht an a-hole!

i get ppl calling my house asking for god knows who because it's all in russian. i wonder if i can somehow do a search of who my phone number now belonged to... majority of the wrong-callers are russian and elderly. so whatever i say they have absolutely no idea. so i'm stupid you see.. i talk to them in a russian accent in hopes they'll understand me better... hahaha i'm an idiot! it never works! but regardless, i'm very pleasant when letting them know.
