We are going wih the wedding party. One of the reasons was to save money. Also we got the Escalade so there's plenty of room.

I actually got a good deal for 1 Excursion and I really want to do that...but I'm wondering if I will want to be alone after the church...

We went in a limo by ourselves and I have to tell you - it was the best decision we ever made! It was WONDERFUL to talk about everything until we got to the place to take pics. If you can, do it...

My BP and both our parents went in the other limo...it was so nice to be in a quiet place after all the madness.

My FH now is telling me that he wants to be alone with me after the church....

So, we may then HAVE TO look into a different package besides the ones given to us below........(we definitely want the excursion)

1) one excursion

2) one excursion and one regular limo (the second limo was to bring the groom to the church)

3) two regular limos for the whole day

ANY SUGGESTIONS????????

We are getting married at the hall so we wont be riding from a church to the reception. BUT we are doing pics beforehand. We were going to go in seperate limos to the photo site but just decided that we would get an H2 Hummer instead because we figure it will be fun for everyone to be together for the ride. I cant wait!!

If I may...consider the limo company we used: Double Diamond Limos they have an Excursion and their prices are great...but best of all, the service is outstanding. I would call and speak to Tommy (although he's getting married in early July). My fi used the Excursion for his bachelor party and it was great, but the A/C wasn't really that cold, so mention it to him.

ETA: I just realized you're getting married in January - nothing to worry about regarding A/C then!

In any case, we went alone because my DH absolutely insited on it...and he was right!

Sorry if I'm rambling, I' sitting here sipping Alize while my DH watches boxing.
But still, I'm always HTH!

My DH used the Excursion for the bachelor party...the day of we had an Escalade and a Chrysler 300C.

The 300C picked me up at home (and my mom, MOH, BM and dad) and took us to the church.

The Escalade picked up DH and his family and rest of BP an took them to church.

After, DH and I went in 300C (and we drank a bottle of champagne en route to picture spot - also recommend!) and BP and parents went in Escalade.

we used our own car. We let his family have one limo and my family took the other limo.

Best decision we EVER made! Limos travel VERY slowly. Our best man and maid of honor drove us to Leonard's. We got there 45 minutes before the limos!

If we had gone in a limo, we would never have been able to check out the reception room before it opened or say hello to people in the lobby.

We also had them for 4 1/2 hours! Make sure you time it right though because OT is VERY expensive...

We had the limos pick us up at 2:00pm, drop us off at church for a 3:00pm ceremony.

Then we went to take pics near the hall...

Then to the hall...drop off was at 6:30pm. So total time was 4 1/2 hours.

But suven is very right...limos travel SLOWLY. It took me the entire hour to get to the church and it normally takes 30 min from my house. Time it so that you won't have to pay for OT.

It was supposed to be us but my sister ( moh) and niece (bm) wound up coming with us.

I am SO GLAD we had 2 limos and were seperate from the bridal party!!!! I heard they were partying and drinking and going crazy and I really enjoyed sitting back and relaxing for a second with my new husband without a million people starring at us and shoving drinks down our throats!!! I would have been pissed if I was getting stepped on / drinks spilled on me before the reception even started!!!

with the bridal party in an Escalade limo!!! We have about 50 minutes form the church to the reception!!
