Work Related----I am scared...

Sorry to post here. But! I'm comfortable here.

Hate my current job. Ok...don't hate it. Management changes and I am having a difficult time adapting. Posted my resume today (10am)....its not 4pm and I got 10 responses. All want interviews etc. I am nervous!!!!!!! It's happening too quick. My boss and I are friends (MISTAKE), should I really go? I know I should!!!!

take a deep breath and go for it. An interview does not constitute a job offer...you have time.

DEFINITELY do the interviews!!! If your boss is your 'friend' then she/he will understand. Don't be stuck in a job that you HATE...(like me! )

Go for it. I always say it's best to put yourself out there when your stock is high! You will be great. It's hard doing the interviewing, and worrying, but your in a very good position. You can take whatever you want, not just because you need a job. Don't even think about friends at your current workplace either. I thought I had the best friends where I used to work. I got this new job, and the people are just as great. You will find a group and they will gravitate toward your winning personality. Go knock their socks off!!
