Maid of Honor/Bridesmaid

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good way to ask someone to be in your wedding party?

Congrats fellow Oheka bride!!! How many bridesmaids are you thinking of asking? I asked all my girls over dinner and then did something personal for each of them as well.

I'm using cards I bought from Ebay. I've already asked my 2 BM's and JR BM but my MOH has no idea!

I took all my girls to dinner at Oheka (on a Wednesday night its free for brides-to-be) and gave them each a book titled 'Bridesmaids' with a personalized message from me inside each of the books. For my Flower Girls I gave them each a book titled 'When I Was A Flower Girl' and a personalized message for them too!

I made 'will you be' cards for all my bms and handed them out at our eparty.

i asked in person as well as emailed everyone 'will you be my bridesmaid?' cards.

and then @ my engagement party- i got them all a smal gift - reiterating the question.

i wanted to be through........LOL

You can order the books from any bookstore or through amazon.com, I believe they come faster if you order through Amazon and may even be a little bit cheaper!

YAY for May 20th!!!!! Definitely a good/lucky day!!

And we are both getting married at the same place too....!!!

I asked them each individually, and then gave out handmade cards at my eparty. Inside read, 'Stand by Me' and the reason I asked them to be in the BP...

Its actually free for the brides who are getting married there. They consider it their tasting and as long as your getting married there and have a reservation you can go and enjoy dinner on them!
