East Wind Country Gardens - Repost from BHB

Hi Girls! I posted this on BHB, but I thought I'd share with my fellow '06-ers too!

I went to East Wind last month and took pictures of the Country Gardens. We went early in the day before any weddings started.

Here's a link to my pics. I'm with my FH and his parents. It's so pretty there....

Hi! Fellow CG bride here. It's beautiful there. But I am not too keen on the new chairs, to be honest. What do you think?

Re: East Wind Country Gardens - Repost from BHB

I don't remember what the old chairs looked like, but I'm hoping that with the centerpieces on the table it wont look like too much. Too much going on, you know? It's a small room, and I just hope it doesn't look too busy. But once all of our guests are inside, I dont think I'll even notice the chairs.

My one hesitation with getting chair covers (besides the possible added cost) is actually sitting on chairs with chair covers. I went to a wedding at JA/Venetian Yacht Club a couple of weeks ago, and the chair covers seemed a bit too big and I couldn't tuck my feet under the chair when I sat. I also felt I kept getting tangled up in the tablecloth and chair cover.

I just hope it doesn't rain because my ceremony is there as well!!!

My ceremony is there too! Let's pray for sunny skies for summer 06!!! My mom looked at the pictures you took of the new chairs (thanks by the way, you saved me a trip) and she said she didn't think they were too bad. Persoanlly I just think there is so much color in the room (the wall paper, rug, and now the chairs) I am worried that it will be too busy. I was going to go w/ lavender rose centerpieces, now thinking pale pink would be better.

I haven't decided on my colors yet, but I ordered low centerpieces. I thought the high arrangements on stands would be too much in such a small room.

If you don't mind me asking, who is performing your ceremony? We booked Rev. Joe DeVincenzo. He was highly recommended by Shannon when we booked East Wind.
