I have a hair trial tonight-UPDATED

with Carmella. She works with jackie from I makeup you. I booked jackie already for my makeup. anyway, i was wondering who you brought with you to your trial? I was gonna go alone, but now i'm thinking of calling my mom and having her meet me there.

opinions please TIA


UPDATE: Carmella was super nice and did exactly what I wanted on the first shot. I don't have pictures yet as to I had to use a disposable camera. I'm having a block party tomorrow so I'll use up the camera and get it developed Monday.

I totally recommend her. She works out of S&E Hair Studio in North Massapequa. If anyone is interested FM me and I'll give her number to you.

I haven't had one yet but I am sure my mom will be with me. If you feel more comfortable with someone, call mom & ask her to meet you there

Do you have your headpiece yet? I brought mine in, and it gave me a really good idea of where I want to place it etc.

Also, bring CASH! I didn't realize to bring enough cash in case I wanted to book then and there, I had to send in my deposit via check. Was just a pain in the butt. lol

I brought FH with me. He is very involved in the planning, and I like having him around. If my mom lived here, I would definitely take her.

Actually I do. I bought my tiara last Friday, but didn't bring it home with me. I left it there till my veil was ready and i was gonna pick both up at the same time. I could always leave work early and go to tri county, pick it up then go over to the salon.

thanks for the bring cash, i wouldn't have known that. guess i'll be hitting the ATM first, what else is new. i'm always hitting the ATM

I met Carmella this weekend - she did the make-up for my cousin's wedding. She's an absolute doll and very talented!
