A preview of my 12th night pics - AND my custom album layout

Some people wanted to see some of my 12th night photos. I figured I would post a few.

The below photos are actual pages that are going in my wedding album.

I am doing all the albums myself... the pic placement... the layout... the photoshop... ordering the albums... everything done on my own.

Here are some pages from the album. Vanessa hasn't even seen these pages yet.

I am quite impressed on how my layout is coming out. This is photo studio layout quality... maybe even better.







Here is a wide 'panoramic' picture that will actually take up BOTH SIDES of a open book page (left and right).



Maybe I should start a little side business in doing layouts and albums.

WOW! They look great. They definitely rival the studios out there. That's awesome! If I decide to do my own layouts, i'm defiitely going to come to you for advice. They really look amazing. I love the page that includes vanessa and her BP and FG. It's so beautiful! Good Job!

8 hours... $1150. I get three DVDs... but no albums.. i just get all the original negatives/files/etc.


But since I am doing my albums myself... this is working out perfectly.

I won't know until I get the albums because I am not sure how many pages will be in the album. So far I have 20 album pages done (getting ready, church, family shots, etc.). I still have to do all my Swan Club photos.

I am just running with the creativity and whatever number of pages I end up with... is whats going in the album. I just can't go over 57 pages I think cause thats the most the physical album can hold.


Granted... this is a lot of work doing the layouts and all. Its not easy. But its really self-satisfying knowing I have complete creative control of my wedding album.

I am actually really enjoying doing this.

if you mean how much does 12th night charge. they don't really have album packages- that's why he gives you ALL negatives and such. you do the end work of designing your own ablum. but you also get the savings of doing so.

I loved your pics and your layout. Dom is my photog too and I can't wait! If you don't mind, can you do a little play by play- did you do it online or a purchased program?

We did that same package with them! Your shots look great! Their albums come out so nice. We really enjoyed seeing the samples.

Oh I know that. Thats why I chose 12th night in the first place! I wanted the flexibility and control of having all my original files and negatives.

No... he did me in all digital. But I had the option of doing partial film and if he did that I would have gotten the negatives as well.

Thank you! And I have to admit, my sick side got a chuckle out of 'he did me in all digital'.

He did me in all digital too...I was just confused.
