Please help me pick out my menu!!!!!

I'm having a combination course (served in lieu of an appetizer and a salad) and I can't decide which to choose.

The guests have a choice of 7 dinner entrees: rack of lamb, salmon, filet mignon, stuffed shrimp, chicken, vegetarian option, roast duck.

I'd really appreciate your telling me what combination course to serve - I have no idea!

I opted for the Portabello combo. I love mushrooms and shrimp equally - but, the reason why I chose this is because I wanted a 'salad' and I added the shrimp display to cocktail hour (also at WM).

so the portobello is in the lead. . . but I still dont know what to choose!

I said the portabello but only because I know we had shrimp at out cocktail hour & a number of guests were allergic to shrimp.

I picked the portabello too. My father would DIE if he ate shrimp and we have a number of kosher guests also.

I would go with the portobello b/c like the other posters said, if anyone is allergic, kosher, or a vegetarian, they won't be able to eat it at all... but they both sound SO yummy!
