I know things are getting bad now...

a girl from my office was struck in the head this morning by a falling rock from a building under construction next door. she is injured, but so far not critically, but enough to be duly compensated. and oh yeah, we work for the U.S. Attorney's office....

so, I know things are getting back when I found myself thinking of the $$ she will be getting and actually wishing it had been ME!

Jess please dont say that...you know what they say 'Be careful what you wish for'... well that happened to me... our previous car was a piece of junk and we were trying to hold off on getting a new one until after the wedding and I kept wishing 'darn it I wish this car would break down or something so that we can get a new one'...sure enough... a few weeks after my 'wish', Mike was in a car accident and the car was totalled...Mike thank God got out of it ok but you just never know...

no, I know, but it just makes me batty sometimes worrying about $$, but I know nothing is more important than good health.

I am very happy that she is doing ok. she is alert, but has a very bad headache. she is really very fortunate.
