repost from '05 board - had my surprise bridal shower this weekend!!!

so i was totally surprised by an amazing surprise shower this past saturday!! it was at the Bay Shore Yacht Club on the most beautiful sunny day, with lots of out of town friends, family, etc...i couldn't have asked for a better day - and i cannot believe all of the scheming that was involved!!! i feel so fooled:)

here are a few exciting features that added to it:

- guest sign in book that my aunt made, with polaroid pictures

- martini bar! my dad, bro, and grandpa were the bartenders in tropical shirts - with a framed menu with drink descriptions of the 'Laurentini' which was a Cosmo and 'Daverini' which was an Appletini, haha

- themed gift baskets from my bridal party, one for each season!

- from the party - a tiffany's crystal dish with my wedding invitation etched onto it in the same exact font!

- from fsil - engagement/wedding keepsake box with our names and date on it!! - also an engagement book with photos, descriptions, etc. in it - so amazing.

- cookbook with recipe cards that many guests brought that day:)

- wishing well

- pink and white roses as centerpieces, with framed photos of me as a kid and some older years - pretty funny - but luckily my mom skipped the 'awkward years' haha

so many other great things, i can't even remember them all. it was so amazing and i am loving throwing out our old towels, sheets, etc!!! i'll post pics as soon as i get some emailed to me - can't wait!
