First Wedding Nightmare!

WOW! I had my first horrible wedding nightmare...and it felt SOO real!!!!!!!

This is what happened:

Everyone had walked down the isle and they were all waiting for me but I was in the bathroom trying to fix my hair and my tiara kept falling off...it looked horrible! On top of that, my makeup was not touched up and I had NO time to fix either! Everyone was waiting and getting impatient!



I think I had this nightmare because I still have not booked my hair and makeup vendors yet.

that's exactly why you had that nightmare.

before I went to look at dresses I had a nightmare that I showed up to my wedding wearing a gray sweatsuit (I don't even own a gray sweatsuit)

before I booked the DJ, I had a nightmare that my DJ didn't show up at the wedding.

it's totally normal to have these dreams, IMO.

That is really interesting that you had the same dreams for the same reasons.....

Geez.....I am starting to see why people say that wedding planning is stressful! That dream really freaked me out to book those vendors!!!!!!!!!

well I had a dream that the flowers never arrived and the limos were late...not a dream, a nightmare!!!!!

On Friday night I had a nightmare that I was at a trunk show and I couldn't find a wedding gown. I woke up extremely frustrated.

The next morning I went to dress shopping and fell in love with the first dress I tried on!

I haven't had nightmares about vendors (at least not yet, I'm sure I'll get to that), but I've had nightmares about rings! Before we got engaged, I had a dream that we did, but that the ring was a really thick COPPER ring, with this huge diamond on it - but the diamond was milky white (it was hideous). I wasn't too freaked out because I already knew that my FH was only going platinum, and was picking out the diamond itself because he wanted to make sure it was perfect (and it is!!!). Then the other night I had a dream that we got married, but the wedding band was horrible!! We've already picked out our bands, though we haven't ordered them yet, so I know exactly what they will look like, but in the dream the band had two rows on stones, but it was like looking at a birthstone chart! everything was on there......and more! They were all different sizes and just looked horrible!! AHHHH!!

Just the stresses we're feeling getting themselves worked out somehow. I say we all need massages!!!

I had a nightmares that the invites didn't get sent. your not alone, we all are stressing over our weddings.

I dreamt that FMIL showed up in my dress!!! the scary part is the reality of that doesn’t feel so far off! EVERYTHING is about her. FH has had to put her in her place, even I have been forced to put her in her place, but still fear her ways.. She is very good at figuring out her path of least resistance and pulling the 'feel bad' for me card on top of it... have to stay on our toes!

I keep having dreams of death. Im so scared that something is going to happen.

I used to get wedding nightmares all the time, I think when I get closer to the the wedding they will start again

I had a dream last night the the reception hall wouldn't let anyone in for the cocktail hour, so they all went across the street to a Japanese restaurant and has a party over there. I was so mad at the hall, I went home!!
