Any bride wearing a ball gown

does anyone need a super full petticoat beside me? I need a petticoat like this pic, but it GALLS me to have to spend $80 on something I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN, unless of course I am ever cast as Scarlet O'Hara....highly unlikely....

so if you need to buy one and want to go half-sies....I am definitely down...in fact, if there's a group of us...the more the merrier.

by the way, I would need a medium, which goes up to a 30 inch waist.

I haven't seem a medium in a long time!!!!

I wish you lots of luck. It seems like a great idea to share it, although I don't know how some ladies feel about sharing under garments even if it is a petticoat. JMO

Re: Any bride wearing a ball gown

thanks for pointing that out Mrs.Felix. I didn't really think about that...but just to be clear....

I will have full on undergarments underneath, and I don't give a hoot about sharing, since I would have it cleaned before and after use regardless.

so, if you are not sketched out by such things, feel free to post of fm me. thanks!

Re: Any bride wearing a ball gown

I think i need one of those! I might be borrowing my cousins, but i'll def find out and get back to you. What size is it exactly? You said it goes up to 30', but what does it start at? I'm about a 26' waist.

I'm wearing an eve of milady ballgown!

Jess, if you could find out that would be great. you would need a small, but I am right on the border bet. small and medium (27 1/2 after my last measurement..) I thought it would be better to go down a size I wouldn't mind sucking it in a bit to save some $$. let me know.

I need one of those. And I'd fit the same size as you. But I'm confused about these slips....are there hoops in it? My dress is 'princess'? not ball gown..would this be too big? I'm not a very well informed bride...sorry.

call your bridal salon and ask about the dress. do you have a pic?

this is my dress...does yours have a similar skirt?

like I said, I will split this thing how many different ways!

I never realized how big that was Jess - no wonder why you went to town with all that tafetta.

Re: Any bride wearing a ball gown

here's mine. When I tried it on at Macy's they gave me a full slip to put on with it. But the woman told me I would get a fuller slip to make it poofy. Yours looks bigger than mine.

BTW Your dress is gorgeous!
