And for post #1,000 I thought I'd say...
Help, help, help! Kick me in the butt someone! I NEED a dress, I need a photographer, I need a DJ...AHHHHH! There is no time for anything. I work 10-7 in the city, FH works and has school, almost all our weekends are filled with other people's weddings, birthdays, babies etc. I actually have a free day tomorrow, but FH & I have only 1 car and he needs it to go to CT. Ugh!Sorry, needed to vent a little (okay, a lot)

you really are going to have to be 'selfish' and actually take a day (or two or three) to get these things done. as a friend to drive you to see dresses and skip someone's party if need be. you have to make time for your wedding girl!

First off, congratulations on reaching 1000!!!!!!!
Ok, here's comes the speech. You gotta get it in gear!!!! I understand you're busy but you can certainly take a cab or public transportation somewhere to go look at dresses tomorrow while your FH has the car. Where is your bridal party to help you out? They can be your eyes and ears by doing a lil research on DJs and photographers. Then present you and FH with their top choices. It'll be a lot easier that way and you won't get stuck wasting your time with vendors you don't like. HTH!!

Do you get lunch breaks or do you have a working lunch? Can you make phone calls, etc. during your lunch? Can you do anything tomorrow with your free day? Where are you? I'm in W. Suffolk and seriously, if you need a ride to get to a vendor tomorrow afternoon, I might be able to help you out. I'll even drive you to a bridal salon - you have to get moving (but you knew that).

Okay, okay, stop kicking, my butt hurts! Thanks for the wise words ladies. I'll see if I can pry my sister away from 3 kids duty to look at dresses tomorrow, but I need appointments, right? And aren't they probably all booked up for tomorrow already? Am I just making excuses?

That is so nice of you! I'm in W. Nassau, though...but wow, nice! As for lunch, I can take an hour, and I could make calls but it is awkward cause I am in a cube right in the middle of the office and everyone can hear me.
