church question
How can u find out available dates in the church? Can u only find out by talking to the priest, or can anyone there tell you?

I had to meet with either a Deacon or a priest. The secretary wouldn't tell me about a date. Probably depends on your church.

we had to meet with a priest and even though we had a hold on our hall for the day we wanted we pretended like we hadn't decided on a hall just yet, because some churches tend to look down upon that. I dont' think you will ahve a problem since your date is far in advance.

call the rectory - the secretary will tell you if the date is available.
she will also set up an appointment for you to meet with the priest.

I think it depends on the church. You might have to make an appointment w/the priest. Call and ask.

You prob have to make an appointment with the priest... be aware though that many churchs have the ruling that whom ever you talkk to is who does your ceremony so make sure you talk to the priest you want
