save the date magnet question

For those of you who used std magnets, what did you mail them in? Did you just put them in a small envelope and mail? or did you put a note in it or something else?

I put my magnets inside a note card.

I had to get a little creative on this one since the magnets are so small and I couldn't find envelopes anywhere!

I bought American Greeting Thank You cards at Walmart (8 cards for 99 cents) and just used those envelopes.

it was still a little big for the magnet, but it did the trick.

inside a note card

we printed both the magnets and cards ourselves and had my fmil calligraphy the envelopes

I made a card with cardstock with a cute saying on the front...then I used a little glue dot and attached the magnet inside the card

We put it on a piece of papaer that said...'Please use this magnet to Save the Date, we want you to be there to Celebrate' then our names and date...

word of advice i learned from my brother who did STD magnets - don't drop them in the blue mailboxes

- as soon as they dropped a batch in they heard 'clunk' and realized it must have stuck to the side! they dropped the rest off at the post office. i guess the mailman figured it out b/c everyone got theirs.
