yes, he recently started dieting. not only for the wedding...he's been heavy his whole life and he wants to change that

I wish he was! He has been eating a little better for the past 6-8 months, but he doesn't really follow any type of diet. And I can't get him to exercise at all - I can barely get him to take a walk. I wish he would do something - he is at a very high risk for early heart disease and is about 20 pounds overweight. He has a herniated disk (sp?) so I know he can't really go to the gym or anything b/c it would be too much, but I really think at least walking would be really beneficial. Or seeing a nutritionist or something ... I'll keep trying though.

My FH is usually very active during the warmer months and more of an inside person during the colder months. He's started working out because we're going on a cruise in January and he wants to look good. He'll prob keep up the routine until our wedding later next year.

He says he wants to lose weight, but he can't stop eating, so I doubt he will be successful.

No, Fh is already in really good shape. He goes to the gym and eats healthy on a regular basis.
I would like him to get a manicure and whiten his teeth. Not sure if he will go for that though.
