My mom is making me rethink my colors.. help

Ok, so I asked my mom if she liked the bok (first pic) that i wanted to have for my BM's and she got all wierd about the orange in there and wasnt sure how orange matches so I showed her some other pics and she was like 'ok' but I could tell she wasnt in love. I know it what I like, but my parents are paying so if they arent completely happy with it I would feel really bad.. so I've posted my BM dresses, the original colors and the second choice colors. My reception is in the Manor Room at the Westbury Manor. What do you girls think about both choices of colors??

I LOVE IT!!!

Seriously LOVE it! I understand you want to make your parents happy, but this is your wedding and you should be happy too. Plus...things have changed since they were married...a lot of parents are use to the new styles and trends.

I've seen that bouquet before and fell in love with it. If I wasn't so obsessed with Autumn I would have had a summer wedding with those colors!

SIMPLY STUNNING!!!!

ETA: I really don't like the bottom choices for colors. They're too soft...not beautiful and bold like the first is... You need bold colors to go with those gorgeous gowns!

I would probably go with ivory & ivory. The other colors they have from what I remember is burgandy, gold, and chocolate...I think those colors would take away from the bright bold colors you have. Double check when it's time though. They might have more choices then.

definately stick with your first choice...I think the orange is such a great contrast color & makes the dresses stand out so much!!!

your colors are gorgeous! i am sure your mother can help you make lots of decisions, but you should get a color scheme that you love.

I totally agree. Your first choice is the best and it goes perfectly with your BM dresses!

oh danielle, DEFINITELY your first choice!! the bold colors are GREAT. the others are too muted for your bright BM dresses. even though mom and dad are paying, YOU will have to look at the pictures for the next 50 years. you need to be happy.

I think it looks awesome. The orange and pink really make it pop. I know what it's like to want to please, but is your day - your way, no matter who pays!
