Re: <3 Official Russo's on the Bay Thread <3
Hey---I didn't have specialty lighting. It was all the DJ! We had a light show/lights throughout the wedding. I was very worried about it being clubby--I think it just made everyone want to get up and dance!

Re: <3 Official Russo's on the Bay Thread <3
But from the pics it looked like you had it...because you had the elements of style right? Because in my book it says if you get elements of style you get the lighting? I am jumping to conclusions maybe because I saw the linens on your tables.... Well even if not....your lighting looks fantastic!
Also....I am about to cancel my current dj, long and aggravating story..
but my FBIL used classie sounds and I think thats who I'm gonna book....we would have Nicholas as our MC...any reviews

Re: <3 Official Russo's on the Bay Thread <3
We had the package just below eleements of style-------table covers; change of napkins; decorated dais... I think that's it. I forgot the name of the package.
We had Nicholas (Nicky)!!! I was skeptical along the way ...........But he ended up being really good!! He really got the crowd going & wasn't intrusive at all.

It's the linen package. That's what we got as well.

Reesa can you repost your link? I just saw your post and the link expired. Anyway, what color bows did you have with the Linens pkg? Did you have a choice? ETA: I was told you can only have ivory on ivory, but I would love to add a shot of color with the bows.

Re: <3 Official Russo's on the Bay Thread <3
Ohhh those are beautiful!!
I'm having a hard time figuring this out...
I want my colors to be very neutral...mocha(light) ivory, champagnhe... so i've always wanted champagne rose centerpieces... however the tivoli room is very neutral in color...do you think that those colors would wash out? I was thinking adding the candles all over might add some warmth....any suggestions?

Re: <3 Official Russo's on the Bay Thread <3
I honestly love the paler colors for the Tivoli room. That's one of the main reasons we chose it. I want a very pale cp as well.

Re: <3 Official Russo's on the Bay Thread <3
I think pinks will really pop in that room, it'll look really nice and lively...
Paler colors with candles I think will be beautiful - it sounds like that would create a classic, intimate feel.
I am going with high cp's with candles on the pedestals circling upwards towards the flowers. I'm probably going with deep reds, purples, and creams.

I had ivory bows---But I know I went to a showcase once and they had colored bows--I'm sure you can get them...for more $$$$$!

Re: <3 Official Russo's on the Bay Thread <3
Hi Girls...I just wanted to add myself to the official Russo's list. Last nite FH and I put our deposit in for 7/7/07 in the Tivoli room. We're working with Audrey and she is such a sweetheart! I am in love with the Tivoli room and I can't wait to start thinking about centerpieces, linens etc. I'm probably going with a Tiffany Blue/acqua theme...what are u girls thinking of doing?

Hey girls Just wanted to know if any of you are planning to go to Russo's Bridal Showcase on January 11th at 6:30. Admission is free, I just think you have to rsvp and let them know how many tickets u need. I'll be there with my mom and possibly FH if I can drag him there
