WHY did I have to get the chicken pox NOW! My bridal shower had to be cancelled already and NOW my birthday plans on Saturday night are ruined!

Chicken Pox...to think you've been able to avoid them for so long them boom...now you get them.
Make sure you don't scratch or pick. Those beasts leave terrible scars.

Look at it this way, you have them now so it's out of the question to get them on your wedding day. Cheer up the same way your shower was canceled it can be rescheduled. Don't worry it will be alright

thank you girls....
I just feel like this was the worst time to get it... I have apointments to go to the Florist, the Reception hall to pick out food, my dress should be coming in any day and I need to get a fitting, we need to do tuxes, and on top of that I didnt even start Christmas shopping. I guess this is why I feel overwhelemed. But, then again, I should count my blessings that I did not get them in February.

I got them when I was 24 - what a miserable experience - yes, people looked at me like I had leprosy when they were drying up... Thst stinks - scratch all you want at the ones on your scalp!!!
Feel better - use Aveeno oatmeal bath - I lived in it for 10 days when I had the pox (one of my students told his mom that I had chicken pockets!)

OMG I am 24 actually ......and I refuse to go out in public right now because they are drying up and I look like a beast!
I used Avenno....it worked great!

I had chiken pox twice so I can hug you as well i hope you feel better ionly have one scar and its on my lower back so just don't scratch your face arms or upper back and you'll be fine!!!!

I had chicken pox when I was older.
I just took sleeping pills and stayed in bed until they dried out. I was too scared to scratch.
It will be over soon.
