A SUPER blonde moment, a Shower AND it's my Birthday!!!

I first need to apologize to my Queens '06ers...I TOTALLY forgot about the GTG this past Monday. I was on vacation and preparing for a trip to my mom's house in Illinois (that's where I am now) and remembered on Tuesday. I was SO mad. It didn't help that my computer has been out of commission for the past 2 weeks!!! I had no internet access since Friday 12/9 @ work.

So today is my birthday, FH and I are in Illinios visiting my mom and we go to meet my mom, step-dad and family for 'Birthday lunch' which to my surprise was..A BRIDAL SHOWER for me!!! It was awesome! I have a lot of family out here that will not be able to make it to NY for the wedding, so it was great to see them. AND, one of my BM, who lives in Michigan and her mom came too! They drove 8 1/2 hours to come here!!!

Everyone was so generous! I do not have pics yet, but as soon as I get some I will share them!! I got the George Foreman Rotiserre and Grill, Mr. Coffee Iced Tea maker (I LOVE unsweetened iced tea), and more!

And I am SO sorry I missed to GTG...I was SO looking forward to meeting those of you who I have not met yet and see those again who I have met.

ANd sorry I have been out of touch...hope to get my stinking computer fixed soon...

Yes, FH knew...He actually called my mom when I bought the tickets to go there, told her he knew I'd really like a shower by her for the family that would not be able to make it to NY for the wedding. Even my MOH (who gave birth on 12/16) in NY was in cahoots (sp?)!!!
